14-18 Mars 2016 - PlankDiv Workshop

We are pleased to announce the upcoming EuroMarine Foresight Workshop PlankDiv on the «  Impact of climate change on the distribution of plankton functional and phylogenetic diversity », to be held on March 14-18, 2016 at the Observatoire Océanologique de Villefranche sur mer, France.

It aims at gathering expertise in species distribution and ecological niche modelling, plankton biogeography, plankton functional traits, and plankton phylogeny to quantitatively assess the impact of climate and climate change on plankton community structure and functioning.

The first two days of the workshop will be dedicated to oral presentations by the participants, with a few invited presentations. The last two days will be dedicated to working groups.

We encourage early career researchers (especially PhD candidates) to submit their contribution and to apply for travel grant.

Detailed information about registration and abstract submission can be found on the workshop website.
